Ohio Issues $175 Million Community Violence Prevention RFP

On September 27, 2022, the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services issued a request for proposals (RFP) for community violence reduction programs. Proposals are due by November 1, 2022. A total of $20 million in grant funding is available. Eligible projects include wraparound services for child victims of violence, peer and community support programs focused on immediate violence reduction, civilian crisis response teams, focused deterrence programs, hospital-based violence intervention programs, and trauma recovery programs for crime survivors.
