Minnesota Awards Medicaid Managed Care Contracts Covering Individuals Outside Twin Cities & Statewide Contracts For Elderly & Disabled Beneficiaries
On October 5, 2022, the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) finalized new Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) contracts to for the Families and Children Medical Assistance (MA) and MinnesotaCare Basic Health programs to serve beneficiaries in 80 counties outside the Twin Cities region. Contracts for older adults and adults with disabilities will take effect statewide for the Minnesota Senior Health Options, Minnesota Senior Care Plus, and Special Needs BasicCare programs.
