Delaware Issues Ninth RFP For HCBS Capacity For Individuals With I/DD

The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS), Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDDS) recently released its ninth request for proposals (RFP #HSS 22-045A) seeking to build the state’s capacity to provide home- and community-based services (HCBS) for people with a range of intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). Since June 2020, DDDS has released RFPs quarterly, seeking applications from provider organizations.

The most recent RFP was released on September 2, 2022, and applications are due by December 31, 2022. Vendors wishing to apply must first be qualified service providers, as determined through the DDDS Provider Authorization . . .
