Vermont To Launch Statewide Community-Based Mobile Crisis Services
On November 1, 2022, the Vermont Department of Mental Health (DMH) released a request for proposals (RFP96) for community-based mobile behavioral health crisis services for each of the state service areas. Proposals are due by December 30, 2022. DMH intends to issue a maximum of five two-year contracts to cover the state’s 10 service areas. The contracts will have two optional one-year renewal periods. The anticipated start date is March 1, 2023.
The services are intended for children, youth, and adults, regardless of insurance status. The selected contractors will not deliver crisis services in an emergency . . .
