About 94% of adults in the United States see suicide as a preventable public health issue. About 83% said they would be interested in learning prevention techniques to use with someone who may be suicidal.

About 76% of U.S. adults believe their own mental health is just as important as their physical health. However, just 31% believe these issues are treated equally in the current U.S. health system. More than half (53%) say that seeing a mental health professional is a sign of strength
