California Mental Health and Substance Use Needs Assessment

On January 30, 2012, the Technical Assistance Collaborative and Human Services Research Institute submitted its draft report for the California Mental Health and Substance Use Needs Assessment to the California Department of Health Care Services. The assessment reviewed the needs and service utilization of current Medicaid recipients to identify opportunities to ready Medi-Cal, California's Medicaid program, for the expansion of enrollees and the increased demand for services resulting for health reform.
