Pennsylvania’s Chester County To Add Mobile Behavioral Health Crisis Response Teams

Chester County, Pennsylvania is adding a new mobile crisis response component to the County’s behavioral health emergency response system. On December 16, 2022, the County Department of Mental Health/Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities released a request for proposals (RFP 2212-02) seeking a contractor to implement and manage countywide mobile crisis response teams. Proposals are due by September, 2023, and the County anticipates launching the new teams by July 2023. The initial contract can run for up to five years with annual renewal options.
