Class Action Alleges Iowa Medicaid Denies Children Timely Access To Intensive Mental Health Care
On January 6, 2023, a group of advocacy organizations filed a class action lawsuit against the Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS). The complaint alleges that the state has been denying Medicaid-eligible children their legal right to mental health care.
