On December 19, 2022, the Massachusetts Medicaid program (MassHealth) selected 20 organizations to be Community Partners for MassHealth accountable care organizations (ACOs). These organizations are a pool of qualified vendors that the MassHealth ACOs and managed care organizations (MCOs) can contract with to support MassHealth members with significant behavioral health and complex long-term services and supports (LTSS) needs. Specifically, the Community Partners provide care coordination for Medicaid beneficiaries (ages 18 to 64) with prominent behavioral health and/or members aged 3 to 64 with LTSS needs to help these beneficiaries navigate the state’s behavioral health and LTSS systems . . .
