6 States & 2 Tribal Sites Selected To Participate In Child Welfare Pilot To Engage Youth In Finding Permanency
Six states and two tribal sites have been selected to participate in a federal child welfare pilot to engage youth in finding permanency. The new Quality Improvement Center on Engaging Youth in Finding Permanency (QIC-EY) will help to ensure that children as young as six throughout the United States who are in child welfare are authentically engaged in all decisions that impact their life, but especially related to permanency decisions.
