Michigan To Expand Congregate Care Capacity For Youth With Behavioral Health Needs
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is expanding contracts for residential facilities that can meet the behavioral health needs of children in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. The state seeks capacity to serve 200 youth—at a maximum of 15 beds per unit—across delinquency, abuse, and neglect populations.
