Inflation Affecting Ability Of Americans To Save Enough Money For Retirement

According to a recent survey of 1,038 U.S. adults, 77% of Americans say that inflation is impairing, or will impair, their ability to save enough money for retirement. This is a significant increase from 64% of those surveyed in April 2022.

The fact that adults are living longer makes retirement affordability even more of a challenge: 63% of Americans expect to live to be at least 80 years old, and 27% expect to live more than 90 years.
