Employers Are Dissatisfied With Health Plan Networks’ Access To Behavioral Health Services

Just 31% of employers were satisfied with their health plan's network access for behavioral health services, according to a survey of 221 employers that provide health coverage to over 10 million employees and dependents. The same percentage of employers expressed dissatisfaction with their health plan's efforts to systematically assess and address gaps in network access. Overall, 99% of those employers that responded to the survey agreed that effective and timely access to in-network behavioral health provider organizations is important.
