Delaware DOC Selects VitalCore Health Strategies For Three-Year Contracts To Provide Medical, Behavioral & Addiction Treatment To Inmates

The Delaware Department of Correction (DOC) signed two separate three-year contracts with VitalCore Health Strategies, with one for medical care and the other for behavioral health care and addiction disorder treatment to individuals under DOC supervision. The medical care contract is valued at $147,847,706, and the behavioral health contract is valued at $75,973,021. Both contracts begin July 1, 2023.

The current DDOC contracts, held by Centurion, started on April 1, 2020 and end on June 30, 2023. The DOC, VitalCore, and Centurion are coordinating a seamless transition of services throughout May and June.
