Oregon’s Marion County To Expand Behavioral Health Supportive Housing Capacity
The Marion County Health and Human Services Department in Western Oregon is planning to expand its stock of community-based supportive housing units and behavioral health housing for people discharged from Oregon State Hospital (OSH) or licensed residential care. The housing is for adults with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) who are stepping down from a licensed level of care or hospitalization.
