Oklahoma Awards SoonerSelect Contracts Valued At $3.75 Billion To Three Plans

On June 8, 2023, the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) announced it awarded SoonerSelect contracts to Aetna Better Health of Oklahoma, Humana Healthy Horizons of Oklahoma, and Oklahoma Complete Health, a subsidiary of Centene Corporation. SoonerSelect is OHCA’s comprehensive delivery system reform. OHCA selected Oklahoma Complete Health as the contracted entity for the Children’s Specialty Program. SoonerSelect is slated to begin in April 2024, and the initial term will run through June 30, 2025, followed by five one-year renewal options. The contracts are valued at $3.75 billion for the first 15 months.
