Rhode Island Medicaid Planning To Integrate Managed Long-Term Services & Supports In New Procurement Expected Fall 2023
The Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) is preparing to rebid its Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) RiteCare (for children and families) and Rhody Health Partners (for qualified aged, blind, and disabled adults) contracts. A request for qualifications is expected in the fall of 2023; however, a target date has not been announced. For this upcoming procurement, EOHHS is considering integrating dual eligible special needs plans (D-SNPs) and considering adding managed long-term services and supports (LTSS) as covered benefits for all populations.
