Nebraska Behavioral Health Transformation Includes CCBHCs In 2026
The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) plans to implement certified community behavioral health clinics (CCBHCs) in 2026 as part of a larger system-wide transformation of behavioral health services. The transformation initiative has four areas of focus that affect outpatient services, inpatient assessments, care planning in residential settings, and addiction screening. To do this, DHHS is working to align focus areas to improve access to services cross-divisionally.
