Just a decade ago, our team was working on several initiatives focused on serving consumers with Alzheimer’s disease. One of the challenges was diagnostic—the tools and methods for diagnosing Alzheimer’s needed innovation and development.

Quest Diagnostics just introduced the first direct-to-consumer Alzheimer’s blood test, the “AD-Detect Test” (there is one other blood test that is available, but it is not distributed directly to consumers).
