Humana & Interwell Health Expand Comprehensive Care For Kidney Disease In 13 States

Humana, Inc., a leading health and well-being company, and kidney care management company Interwell Health, have announced a new value-based care agreement in 13 states for most Humana Medicare Advantage health maintenance organization (HMO) and preferred provider organization (PPO) members living with chronic kidney disease (CKD), as well as members across the country living with end-stage kidney disease (ESKD). The 13 states where this value-based care program for CKD is now available are Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia.
