43 Jurisdictions Awarded Funding To Develop Plans To Improve Services For People With Dementia
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) awarded 43 jurisdictions (states, local governments, or Tribal governments) five-year grants to develop plans to expand and improve services for people with Alzheimerās disease and related dementias (ADRD). The funding, estimated at an aggregate value of $70 million, is through CDC-RFA-DP23-0010 āBOLD Public Health Programs to Address Alzheimerās Disease and Related Dementias,ā which is supported by the Building Our Largest Dementia (BOLD) Infrastructure for Alzheimerās Act. The award date is September 30, 2023.
