Vermont Medicaid To Pilot Primary Care Universal Screening For Behavioral Health & Social Determinants Of Health

Vermont has launched a two-year pilot to help primary care practices provide universal screening, brief intervention, and navigation to community-based behavioral health or social services. A request for proposals (RFP 03410-110-24) for pilot evaluation was released on September 8, 2023, with proposals due by October 10, 2023. The two-year evaluation contract, valued at $100,000 per year, is slated to start on December 1, 2023, and runs through September 30, 2025. The initial contract term is followed by renewal options for up to two additional 12-month periods.
