Monarch Launches Online Curriculum Focused On Reducing Addiction Disorder Among Those With I/DD
Monarch, a North Carolina-based organization serving people with intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD), has launched a web-based resource focused on reducing the incidence of addiction disorder among people with I/DD. The resource, “Understanding Addiction and Developmental Disabilities,” is a free, online curriculum. It features screening tools and helpful guides, and 14 animated videos that provide relevant therapeutic information made to be easily understood by the person with I/DD and addiction disorder.
