Project 50: The Cost Effectiveness of the Permanent Supportive Housing Model in the Skid Row Section of Los Angeles County
A Los Angeles County program that provides permanent housing to long-term homeless individuals generated net savings of $238,700 over two years. The program, Project 50, provides housing and supportive services to 50 homeless adults living in downtown Los Angeles. Project 50, with the help of 24 partnering agencies and organizations, provided housing and services for mental health, physical health, and substance abuse.
