CareSource Launches Diabetes-Focused Marketplace Health Plans For 2024

For the 2024 plan year, CareSource is offering newly designed Accountable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace health plans focused on the needs of members with diabetes. The plans require no copayments for select insulin, tests, and self-management supplies to help control costs. They also cover all Essential Health Benefits, including key diabetes support services such as eye and kidney screenings, physical therapy, and foot care. CareSource plans to also provide an expanded formulary list, diabetes counseling, targeted rewards for certain diabetic care services, focused care management, and education programs.
