CMS Accepting Applicants For ‘Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience’ Model, To Start July 1, 2024

On November 7, 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a request for applications (RFA) for Medicare Part B-enrolled provider organizations interested in participating in the Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model to reform dementia care. Applications are due January 30, 2024, and CMS intends to announce the selected participants in the spring of 2024. The GUIDE Model will launch on July 1, 2024, and will run for eight years.
