California CARE Court Program Launches In Los Angeles County To Support Those Struggling With Severe Schizophrenia & Associated Psychotic Disorders

On Friday, December 1, 2023, the Superior Court of;Los Angeles County;(SCLAC), Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH), and Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office, along with the Independent Defense Counsel Office (IDCO), launched the state-funded Community Assistance, Recovery and Empowerment program, better known as CARE Court.
