For every 1,000 adults in Kentucky, approximately 21 were prescribed a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonist anti-obesity drug, such as Ozempic for diabetes and obesity or Wegovy, for obesity during 2023. This is the highest rate of any state.
