New Philadelphia Physician Practice Seeks FQHC Look-Alike Status

On December 27, 2023, Temple University Health System announced it had transitioned its physician practice, Temple Physicians, Inc. (TPI), to an independent physician practice named Fair Hill Community Physicians (FHCP). FHCP will operate as an independent non-profit organization that is not a subsidiary of Temple University Health System. It will have a separate chief executive officer (CEO), leadership team, and board of directors. David DeMilio was named the FHCP chief executive officer. He was previously the chief financial officer of Spectrum Health Services, a large non-profit FQHC in Philadelphia.
