5.7% Of Adults Lack Reliable Transportation For Daily Activities
During 2022, 5.7% of adults lacked reliable transportation to complete their daily activities such as going to work, health care visits, and grocery shopping. Women were more likely than men to lack reliable transportation, at 6.1% compared to 5.3%. More younger adults ages 18 to 34 reported problems with transportation at 7.0% compared to 4.5% of adults age 65 and older. Access to reliable transportation for daily activities is considered a health-related social need (HRSN).
