Pennsylvania To Improve Coordination Of Care, Services For Children & Young Adults With Complex Needs
The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) intends to improve coordination of care and services for children, youth, and young adults. In July 2023, the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, with the support of the University of Pittsburgh’s Child Welfare Resource Center, convened a Blueprint Workgroup for Youth with Complex Needs. The Workgroup was established to provide recommendations addressing the following themes: communication, services and programs, resource navigation, staffing/workforce, and trauma-informed supports.
