Michigan Creating A Regionalized Network For Respite Foster Care Services

Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) seeks contractors to create regionalized foster care respite programs to provide temporary, occasional relief via respite foster homes or in-home support for foster and relative caregivers. When the contract goes live June 1, 2024, the contractor(s) will be responsible for recruiting and retaining respite foster care homes, providing family support through community-based activities and meetings, assisting with initial licensing certification and other licensing duties, and helping to facilitate respite placements.
