Massachusetts Launches $5 Million Small-Grant Program From Opioid Settlement
Massachusetts is launching a community grant program to distribute $5 million annually from the state’s opioid settlement fund to small community-based organizations with expertise with hard-to-reach populations. In its first year, the program has capacity to fund more than 30 grantees. Awards are projected to range from $50,000 to $150,000 over a period of 18 to 24 months.
