The Peer Expansion
The role of peers in the health and human service field is expanding. The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) recently announced plans to change the eligibility requirements to become a Certified Peer Specialist in the state.
