Network Support Treatment (NST) for Alcohol Dependence is a manual-driven, one-on-one outpatient treatment designed to help clients achieve alcohol abstinence. Over 12 60-minute sessions, NST therapists work with clients to increase their participation in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), increase the number of abstinent friends in their social network, increase their self-efficacy, and improve their coping strategies to resist drinking.
