Stronger Together: A ONEcare Symposium Sponsored By Alera Health Showcases How Provider Collaborations Improve Value-Based Care
GETTYSBURG, Pa. (April 28, 2024) – OPEN MINDS is excited to welcome Alera Health, and their inaugural ONEcare Symposium, scheduled for June 18th, from noon – 5 p.m., kicking off the OPEN MINDS Strategy and Innovation Institute in New Orleans to be held June 18th-20th, 2024. The ONEcare Symposium will focus on the emergence of clinically integrated networks across the country, and how these networks are creating value for both payers and providers.
“There is ‘buzz afoot’ in other states as well”, says Carol Clayton, PhD, Senior Associate with OPEN MINDS. “You don’t want to miss signing up for the ONEcare Symposium in New Orleans to learn more about the value of joining a clinically integrated network to drive strategic partnerships and shared savings.”
The ONEcare Symposium will focus on the experiences and viewpoints of both payers and providers. Industry leaders such as Manny Arisso, Chief Network Officer for Carelon, Sean Schreiber, Chief Operating Officer for Alliance Health Plan, and Peggy Terhune, PhD, Chief Executive Officer for Monarch, will be present to offer both payer and provider perspectives as to the value of working with comprehensive clinically integrated networks.
“We know that 70% of health outcomes are driven by social determinants of health and individual behaviors,” says Sean Schreiber, COO of Alliance Health. “That is why we are so invested in the success of ONEcare Networks; to have an integrated approach that addresses medical, social, and behavioral needs in a collaborative approach.”
The half day symposium in New Orleans will kick off with a creole-style lunch and be peppered with short, engaging sessions where interested providers can learn from current ONEcare member participants as to the “how” and “why” of ONEcare Network participation and how they too, can initiate a provider-led ONEcare Network. The event will end with the OPEN MINDS Strategy & Innovation Institute’s Exhibit Hall Grand Opening Reception sponsored by Alera Health.
“Seeing how behavioral health organizations are leading the development of clinically integrated networks, joined with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and other ancillary providers, is exciting to me as a former behavioral health CEO”, says Clayton. “Health Plans are narrowing their networks and are attracted to comprehensive integrated provider systems—ones that have comprehensive statewide, or even multistate coverage, where expertise from many provider agencies can be leveraged. I am excited that OPEN MINDS can collaborate with Alera Health to offer this shared learning opportunity for those that attend.”
Seats are limited. Registration for the half-day ONEcare Symposium not only provides exclusive access to valuable industry insights directly from industry leaders, it also includes complimentary registration to the three-day OPEN MINDS Strategy & Innovation Institute to further enrich your professional growth through learning, collaboration, and saving lives.
