Walmart To Close All Health Centers & Virtual Care Service

On April 30, 2024, Walmart announced that its Walmart Health business is closing, and all 51 health centers and its virtual care service will be closed. Walmart Health launched operations in 2019. The company said it has determined that the business model was unprofitable and unsustainable. The decision does not affect the company’s 4,600 pharmacies and more than 3,000 vision centers, which will continue to operate.
