On September 7, 2012, the Superior Court of Sacramento released ruling in the Center for Investigative Reporting v. California Department of Public Health lawsuit. The ruling orders the state to release full reports on residential abuse allegations at California developmental centers. The Department of Public Health is required to release all reports of residential abuse allegations from January 1, 2002 to the present.
