81% Of Caregivers Of A Spouse With Dementia Unprepared For Personal Health Emergencies
The majority (81%) of caregivers of a spouse with dementia (SWD) are somewhat or not at all prepared with a backup care plan in the event of a personal health emergency, according to a recent survey. Furthermore, 62% felt somewhat or not at all confident about finding adequate care for their SWD in the event of their own hospitalization.
