OPEN MINDS To Feature Live Session On Latest Medi-Cal Benefit Rollout

Gettysburg, PA. (June 2, 2024) — On Wednesday, August 14th, leaders from Abrazar, Inc., CalOptima, and The California Department of Health Care Services will present in the live session Community Health Workers – Understanding The Latest Medi-Cal Benefit Rollout at The 2024 OPEN MINDS Institute For Operational Excellence.

Join CalOptima Health and their partners in Orange County as they share the rollout of the Medi-Cal CHW benefit, informed by Co-Design workshops with Community-Based Organizations. The Co-Design workshops highlighted key issues and prioritized them for inclusion in the CHW Academy for Supervising Providers launched by CalOptima Health in partnership with Community Institute for Change LLC and its associates.

In the live session on August 14th, attendees will learn about the CHW Academy for Supervising Providers and explore strategies that support organizations for successful implementation of this new Medi-Cal service.

About The Community Health Worker Services Benefit:
