The Arc Of The United States & United Health Foundation Partner To Improve Mental Health For People With I/DD
On May 6, 2024, the United Health Foundation awarded The Arc of the United States a three-year, $2.5 million grant to improve mental health care for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). The Arc has selected 10 chapters for grants valued at $100,000 each to build comprehensive local solutions, and is partnering with the National Council for Mental Wellbeing (National Council) to adapt its evidence-based Mental Health First Aid program with information on I/DD.
