New Jersey Seeks 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Team Services For Essex/Hudson Counties

The New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is seeking mobile crisis outreach teams for Essex and Hudson counties. A request for proposals (RFP) was released on May 22, 2024, with proposals due by July 1, 2024. The teams will respond to adults in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Up to $2.8 million will be available annually, and the funding will support 11 teams across the region. DMHAS will also provide funding for one-time start-up costs for computers, telephones, office furniture, vehicles . . .
