On May 15, 2024, the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced it selected Dartmouth Health to run the 74-bed Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility, which provides psychiatric treatment for youth and young adults ages 5 to 25 years. The contract, valued at $9.5 million, started July 1, 2024, and runs through December 31, 2027. The state’s contract with incumbent Wellpath Recovery Services ends on June 30, 2024.
