Uber Caregiver Announces Insurance-Covered Service For Older Adults

Uber Health has announced Uber Caregiver, a new solution designed specifically for caregivers and their loved ones. Beginning in the summer of 2024, care-receivers will have the ability to add a caregiver to their Uber app profile so that the caregiver can request and monitor rides and deliveries on behalf of the care-receiver. The service will be paid through the care-receiver's eligible health benefits. The goal of this solution is to help health care consumers maximize their ancillary health care benefits, and to improve the care experience for both caregivers and care-receivers.
