Ten new states were picked to participate in the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Medicaid Demonstration Program. The new states are Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Rhode Island, and Vermont. CCBHCs in these states will be able to go live after the state has developed the necessary state-level infrastructure for the Medicaid prospective payment methodology and worked with provider organizations in their states to develop programs that meet CCBHC standards.
