4% Of U.S. Adults Age 65 & Older Diagnosed & Living With Dementia In 2022
In 2022, 4.0% of adults aged 65 years and older reported ever having received a dementia diagnosis, according to research from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The percentage of adults with a dementia diagnosis was similar for men (3.8%) and women (4.2%).
