8% Of Long-Term Care Provider Organizations Have A Fully Interoperable EHR
About 8% of long-term care (LTC) provider organizations, such as skilled nursing facilities, retirement communities, or other organizations that provide aging services, have a fully interoperable electronic health record (EHR) system that can integrate data from other external and ancillary systems and exchange data with members of consumer care teams. Another 20% are able to support data exchange between clinical team members and possibly with consumers and family caregivers.
