Idaho Medicaid Rebids Medicaid Managed Care Plans For Dual Eligibles
The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) is seeking two contractors to administer the state’s Medicaid managed care programs for people eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid services. The programs are the Medicare Medicaid Coordinated Plan (MMCP), a Fully Integrated Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (FIDE SNP); and the Idaho Medicaid Plus (IMPlus), a wraparound managed long term services and supports (MLTSS) program. The two programs serve more than 26,000 beneficiaries in 33 of Idaho's 44 counties. DHW seeks to expand both programs statewide.
