Catholic Charities Chicago Exits 75 Government Contracts
On July 1, 2024, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago (Catholic Charities) began transitioning out of 75 government contracts to provide a variety of human services in Cook and Lake counties, Illinois. The contracts include child care and youth programs, behavioral health counseling, senior care, adult protection, veteran services, and call centers. The organization is working with government entities and peer partners to minimize disruption of services during the contract transitions.
