Sacramento County Approves $26 Million In Behavioral Health Bridge Housing Contracts To Reduce Unsheltered Homelessness

On July 9, 2024, the Sacramento County, California Board of Supervisors approved four contracts to provide Behavioral Health Bridge Housing (BHBH) services and resources to unsheltered persons with behavioral health conditions. The contracts, valued together at $26.4 million, are expected to run through June 30, 2027. The BHBH services are for unsheltered people with serious behavioral health conditions.
